Three Things You Can Do
- Spread the Word
Give us a call to recieve some business cards, bumperstickers, and buttons. Carry the cards in your pocket and tell your friends, "If your mind is not made up, look up Schaeffer. I think you'd like what he has to say." Then hand them a card. Friend to friend is the most powerful way to spread a message you care about.
- Donate
There are special interest candidates, and there are general interest candidates. I am a general interest candidate which means fundraising comes from individuals like you. I am inordinately frugal but political campaigns are still very expensive. Will you please donate what you can? I promise to use that money in the way that will do the most good for our cause. To make it a little more fun, I'd like to send you a thank you gift for your various levels of donation.

It is too often the case that the people who helped put you into office disappear once you are in. Once I'm in Juneau, you and I need to stay in touch for two reasons. The first is that I don't get discouraged. The second is so that you don't get forgotten. Legal Information
Up to $500 allowed by law per individual per year. Corporate checks, anonymous contributions, and cash over $100 per year prohibited by law. Alaska campaign law requires we report the names and addresses of all contributors and the occupation and employer for contributions in aggregate totaling more than $250 per calendar year. (Corporations and unions may not contribute.) Each individual who signs the check is recorded as a contributor with the amount divided among signers. Thank You!
